FAQ-IM : IOBB MEMBERSHIP

FAQ-IM1: where do I find the IOBB membership forms ?

The form for 2006-2007 membership is available at http://www.iobbnet.org/IOBB-MF-2006-07.doc

FAQ-IM2: I have no income. Do I have to pay membership fees ?

Individuals who have no income need not pay membership fees but you still have to submit the Membership form. Free membership is given to students who are supported by their parents or unemployed persons who are not getting any social welfare assistance. However, individuals concerned should inform your National Representative as soon as you start to receive an income.

FAQ-UA : USER ACCOUNTS

FAQ-UA1: can i read messages without a user account

YES. You can view all forum messages and images without creating a user account.

FAQ-UA2: Can I write without a user account

You cannot.
When a user account is created, "write permission" is not given automatically.

It is given only to IOBB members who have submitted their Membership form or paid their membership. Free accounts with write permission may be given to participants, esp. during sponsored IOBB e-activities.

FAQ-UA3 I created a user account yesterday but the system does not recognise my name. What can I do.

1) check to see if your name is still in the member list If not, create a new user account.
Note: Please use your real name as "username" and the format "firstname lastname". e.g. "Razan Fakieh" (not "razan"). single-word names will be deleted automatically without notice
To edit your username, click on "my account" and "edit account"

FAQ-UA4 I did register but due to some problem this user account, i register with a new name, again same problem user name failure and each time now i login

A common problem is that people forget the user name used because they did not use their real name. There can only be one real name and this will limit the possible errors. Please read FAQ-UA3. Note: there should not be any space after your name or password.

FAQ-UA5 How do I add my picture in the comments I write

The Drupal software adds your picture automatically.
(a) Goto "my account" that is in your name "block" on the top left of your computer screen; click on that
(b) click on "edit account"
(c) near the bottom of the page, you will find an item called "Avatar:". Prepare and save an image of yourself in your computer harddisk that is not more than 50x50 pixels. Then click on "browse" and insert your 50x50 picture into it.
(c) Then remember to "save user information" found at the bottom of the page.
